white Marble (http://www.lightemprador.com) or Granite (http://tanbrown.org) - are there good ones?

I would love some white Stone (http://g603.net) for a vanity top that is only 18"x30". I hope I can find a piece in my fabricator's bone yard that will work. Are there any white Stone (http://g603.net) s that you can recommend as particularly easy care? Any that are so bad I should avoid them?

This vanity will just be used for hand (http://maplered.com) washing. I don't expect anything besides water and (http://maplered.com) soap to ever land (http://maplered.com) there, but who knows for sure.
